I’m kind of an adrenaline junkie, so I love that the deals we do are fast moving. We provide a certain niche service to clients and by understanding, really getting under the hood of complex, fast-moving investments, we get those deals figured out quickly. I also love that I get to travel around the country and learn a lot.

About the Interview

After the Great Financial Crisis, banks became much more restrictive about making loans to real estate investors. In this episode, Paul Slider explains how Calmwater Capital has filled that gap, making bridge loans secured by all types of commercial real estate throughout the U.S. In the process, Calmwater has grown while their borrower clients have access to capital when and where they need it most.
