In this episode, Glenn Solomon explains how his firm identifies the right management teams and opportunities to back, around the globe, from seed to late-stage and in some cases all the way to an initial public offering.

Glenn Solomon is Managing Partner of GGV Capital, where he led GGV's investments in Slack, Zendesk, Square, Pandora and Airbnb among many others. Glenn is the host of the podcast “Founder Real Talk,” where founders and executives discuss the company building challenges they have faced and how they’ve grown from tough experiences. He is also a contributing writer to Forbes.com. Prior to GGV, Glenn was a General Partner with Partech International, where he led the firm’s software investment efforts. Earlier in his career, Glenn worked with Goldman Sachs and also with SPO Partners, a San Francisco-based private investment partnership. Glenn graduated from Stanford University, where he started on three NCAA championship tennis teams, and also earned an M.B.A from Stanford where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. Glenn co-founded and remains active with The Spotlight Foundation, which funds social entrepreneurs addressing the educational needs of at-risk youth.
